"I've never seen them compliment the sign interpretation as highly as they have
here. Thanks again for what sounds like a kick-!#@ signed performance!"

"Another phenomenal Thursday night performance! After a magnificent matinee, Mark Setlock somehow managed to amp it up even more. The phone call and wedding inspired show-stopping laughs and applause. Extraordinary Sign-Interpreting performance by Patrick, who did an enormous amount of work in preparation, along with his partner Deb. Really extraordinary. A hugely attentive and responsive crowd definitely gets some of the credit for fueling a brilliant evening in the theatre."

"For those who don't know, Patrick the sign interpreter is also completely deaf. So he is listening to Mark Setlock speak and then interpreting, he has memorized the show and is using his hearing partner to assist him in his cueing. However, Marci mentioned that she rarely saw him look at his partner, but was totally in sync the entire show. Really cool stuff."

"Patrick is a talented storyteller both in straight ASL and in Sign Mime. His Pirate story was a hoot. He did a great job of directing a wide range of kids at our Family Retreat for the Mother's Day Show. He also did a wonderful performance as the Evil Priest in The Three Musketeers. Patrick is a consummate performing artist and a great asset to the Deaf Community."

"Thank you for a wonderful job done as emcee and judge! The students and adults, who have attended more than once, expressed how awesome you were and would we please invite you back next year!

I can't express my thankfulness for your willingness to give up your time and energy to do this for the students!

THANK YOU!"

4th Annual ASL High School SIGN-OFF

"Brillant, I saw a performance in Kent, Washington for the High School ASL
contest. I never thought that there would be a version that could match
ASL students' understanding of Mr. Fischer's gestural cowboy skit, using
his classifers. His performance is hilarious, and his signing great. THUMB UPS,
Mr. Shineyhead! This is one performance you really should see."

~ Gerardo Di Pietro, Seattle, Washington (4/2/05)
ASL Instructor

"I had a wonderful time and would strongly suggest Patrick contact the PCC interpreter training program to hold a workshop - all day - specifically for the students in that program!!!! Classifiers are something that hearing people just don't get and the more help they get the better.

Thanks for the opportunity to perform! It was a life-enriching experience. I have fond memories to look back on every time I look at the picture taken the night of the performances.

I also feel that Patrick should contact ORID and offer a workshop (with CEU's) for interpreters. I know for a fact that ORID is contemplating which types of workshops to hold !!!!

I enjoyed the fact that we worked with different workshop attendees throughout the day. Mixing up the groups is the best way to ensure people of all skill levels get an opportunity to learn from more advanced signers.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for holding this workshop!!! It was GREAT!"

"I love how it was so hands on and I thought the vibe of the workshop was great. It was the best workshop I have ever attended :0)

This instructor was very knowledgeable and the presentation style and method were perfect for the content. The materials were very helpful and the environment was great for all the moving around. The support from the instructor as well as the group members made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. I think this was one of the most beneficial workshops I have attended and it EXCEEDED my expectations.

Thank you so much, you are wonderful!"
